Propel Bottle Bong

hey.

Here's my first ever homemade bong. (pics attached)

Materials:

Gatorade 'Propel' Bottle
Middle piece/tube of a ballpoint pen
Glass funnel from Chemistry lab
Glue Gun

Basically what I did was melt a hole in the side of the bottle with a glue gun, using a lighter to heat up the plastic, but not burn through.
I then inserted the pen tube in the hole at about a 45 degree angle (I should have put it at a high angle but o well)
Next, I sealed 'er up with a pile of glue ;)

The great thing is that the glass funnels from the chem lab fit perfectly into the pen tube, and create a nice seal on its own. It can be drawn through the cap or without it.

Nice and portable too.

I tested it out and it works great. enjoy.

You need a carb man!
Unless you got that rigged up to be a slider, but it looks to me like you just broke the rest of the glass off. But I'm not sure got really tell.

no, the long glass part is still attached, its just inside the tube. basically the bowl is removable, which is how you can carb it.

yep no failed the next one will probably be real nice. My bongs I use the big arizona tea plastic jug things. And its real nice.

ya the next one Im gonna be sure to fix up the angle of the downstem. A bigger jug woulda been nice, but I was goin for some portability with this one.

Actually, I believe a 45 degree angle is perfect to place a bowl at on a bong. Correct me if I'm wrong...

could be right, but if I put it higher, I could get more water in there. 45 seems to work well though

Right now there is no carb per se because your pen tube goes under the level of the water. If you cut it shorter so that it doesn't go under water, then you'll have a real carb so you can clear the smoke without having the clean air bubble through the water first. The way you have it set up right now, even if you take out the bowl/funnel, when you try to clear it, the clean air still gets bubbled. Other than that though, niiice idea with the funnel, I have one lying around from when I was jacking shit from high school too, haha. :D

I'd have the angle so steep that the bowl is ALMOST touching the side of the bottle, but about a quarter inch away. But that's just me.

if u want a carb just burn a hole on the side at the top of the bottle and ull have a carb...and i figured out how to make a diffuser just get a pen and leave the top on it on the end of the pen (not the end that you write with) and poke holes at the end of the closed pen that goes underwater and ull have a diffuser

Not bad, not great, but not bad at all. Good idea with the science lab bowl but my use for it is 100 X better (see thread). Also I'de lower the water level a bit.
