I'm not actually a massive fan of white Irish people thinking there actually rasta's .... I think i'm a through and through IRISH stoner, with my IRISH ways... but i knew someone a while back that really though they were a rasta even though they were only smoking 4 years or so and from a rich background haha

I'm probably going to get slated for saying that because there could be some full blown rasta's here but like im not saying it's a bad thing its just different strokes for different folks what ever makes the individual happy i think they should do.

So who here is a full blown rasta :)

If your talking about the Rastafarian as a religion I think an infividual regardless of background can choose whichever religion they want, and If they choose to change it for every day of the week so be it.

That is part of what makes the U.S. so great. Freedom of religion. Its your choice. Nobody has the right to discredit another persons religion, even if they just started a new.

If they pick Rastafarian because of the religious beliefs then i would not discriminate ...
if they picked it because they use it as an excuse to try justify there smoking habits then its just sad (just my personal opinion).
Back in the day like i used to have bob posters and all that and have some funny rasta smoking paraphernalia so don't get me wrong i'm not saying people shouldnt be stoners but just can't get my head around people who think there rastas JUST because they smoke :)

Like i've nothing against people who think there rasta's like ive seen loads of your posts and think i even emailed you a few times and your completely sound and I'd definitely share a J with you if you were in the same room haha But i just never got into the whole being a different person once I started smoking.

And I probably am bias about this because the only other "irish rasta" that i know is an absolute fool and started acting like a rasta just because he thought it was cool cause he smoked :) But he could never explain why he changed (maybe because he wasn't genuine) so maybe some rasta's here can explain it to me. Like honestly i don't know enough about being a rasta to even have an opinion so please enlighten me what does it mean to be a rasta

Look I dont know much about the rastafarian faith meself and have never claimed to.Anyone who does it just because they smoke is a "tool" but what cha gona do.I proud to be Irish but I didnt learn how to take time for myself from an Irish man although I have learned a lot from Irish people an continue to do so.I learned to be more tolerant and peaceful thanks to herb an those sweet JA tunes sometimes getting deep.

great thread.. but serious.. i accept me for whatever i may be.. some of you may have some thing against people who wear
hats . nike air max fred. ted addidas whatever.. ive grown up with these clothes and enjoy wearing them. i enjoy spending a few pound on new clothes.. . btw Wots Wrong with . ohh and the people that smoke their soapbar on streetcorners.. if i dint stop all those years ago to taste that mucky soapbar.. i would not have been smoking growing or really i would not have anything to do with canna.. soap was the first thing i smoked.. and smoked it for two years of sumfin.. i hate the taste of it its poo.. rastas are rastas because of what went on in ethiopia with haile salesse.. trying making it better for themselves. so to me anyone that says their a rasta is just simply smoking too much weed.. sure im a stoner.. whatever. im just talking bolls.. this jack h. is quality stuff.. still a few wee buds left too..

Some people just don't get it Budbuster.It took me a while and I have to say for a while I was guilty of being a "fake".I didnt see the simplicicty behind what Rasta was to me which has always been One love,One aim,One destiny if we all and I mean all lived by this imagine how good life would be.

It is hard to imagine.. i think in small tribes or villages they would always look out for each other.. prob dont even smoke the weed they grow to survive..
but when ya come to a city with money every one is out to take and make more money anyway possible.. its a fd up world .. Its hard to think about it .. life would be so good if we were all poor.. then everyone would be helping each other instead of turnin their nose up at oneanotherr.
