Your idea is interesting too. Don't you love the way your mind opens up to knew ideas and thoughts when you're tripping?

The fun thing about spirituality, and God, is that no one really knows anything, so it's all fair game. But then again I don't even believe in God in the traditional sense. I don't believe in an all-powerful, all-knowing, all-present being. I believe that the gods are almost like another species - beings that long, long ago were like us, but are so enlightened that their wisdom, power and existance is more than we could ever fathom as humans.
You're definitely someone i'd love to toke and talk with :stoned:
Everything you've said since you've been on this site has been 'true' (as far as your thought process and opinion on things)

    You see god everyday

    hi everyone,

i'm living in japan now, so i don't get to speak often about this sort of stuff (nevermind that i have no access to the herb).

if the sun is the eye of god, what about the other trillion stars? does god have a trillion eyes? i don't think there is one thing you can point to and say "that is god" because it would make god too small. obviously god is everywhere and is everything in these three dimensions. if, in the beginning, there was literally nothing but god, the only "place" a universe could be created is out of god-stuff. so literally, everything is god.

what gets even weirder is when you start thinking about not only the three dimensions, but on levels of organization. sure, i'm me at this individual body level. but then i go down a level, and i'm a collection of organs and muscles and hormones...then i go down another level, and i'm the cells of a particular organ or body part...then i go down again, and i'm just one cell, with neighbors and the blood-stream highway. then i go down another level, and i'm molecules...lots of elements stuck to each other through the strong and weak nuclear forces. then i go down again, and i'm ONE molecule made of a bunch of atoms. then i go down again and i'm an atom with protons and neutrons in the center and these electrons wizzing around me. then i go down AGAIN and i'm quarks and mesons and quasi-particles like photons...and if i go down again, i'm just energy...when there's enough of me, i pop into existence as a photon, and when there's not, i'm not there. but i could be anywhere at any time...just floating in a sea of energy.

or i could go the other way.

sure, i'm me at this individual level. but then i move UP a level, and i'm one member of my family (which can almost be looked at as a cell of the body). then i move up another level and i'm part of my particular neighborhood (almost like an atom...ever hear of the nuclear family?), or my job, or the clubs i hang out in (let's get our grow-on!). then i move up another level and there's my city. then up again and i'm a little cell in the state, then the federal government, then the civilization, then the human race...but that was too quick, because just like a body, there no hard boundaries from one organ to another. it all flows together. so yeah, i'm part of a family at the same time as i'm in this club, i'm in a certain culture, i'm in a certain political party, i'm in a certain relationship relative to everyone else (einstein and the theory of relativity FTW!). and the human race is only a little part in the history of the earth. as a species we're like a colony of bacteria living on earth...but earth is only one of 9 planets (i still count pluto) around the sun, and the sun is only one star in billions of stars all in the milky way, and the milky way is just one star in the sky of some other planet BILLIONS of light years away, where there's some guy toking his alien weed at night looking into his alien sky at all the stars, and he thinks...i wonder what god is...

    sigh.

    There is no tangible "God"

"God" is the unexplainable connection between all existence in the cosmos
