    You see god everyday

Look around the sky.... What do you see? The sun.

The sun has looked down on us since the beginning of time. Without the sun, everything on earth would cease to be. We would not exist, neither would the plants, water, or earth. Technically the sun IS our god. Without it, we would be hopeless. Every living thing on earth absorbs sun rays, which technically makes us all one. (In my opinion)

The Egyptians once worshiped the sun, as an eagle/owl god named : Ra.
The Egyptians as well used psychedelic drugs to envision their gods.
After using these drugs, it seems i have a better understanding of life... I have also seen the godly visions these people saw thousands of years ago.

The sort of images experienced on psychedelics are endless, but a few things you always see. The all seeing eye. You know that eye inside of the middle of a pyramid, to symbolize the third eye (the eye which perceives other realities)

Alot of visionary art I've seen has similar images. Usually i see pyramids, with eyes embedded in the middle. Some have pyramids with wings (symbolizing the god ra) Some have pathways of eyes leading from the sun, to a pyramid. I have also seen all of these sorts of things while tripping on mushrooms. (which is one of the drugs Egyptians used for godly visions).

What I'm trying to say is: i think the sun is the pupil of our god. Giving us nutrients from the rays it gives. Pyramids were made to be pointing at the sun, towards their god.

I may sounds like a delusional person.... but this is what i believe.... its makes the most sense to me, to do with god. Others who have used psychedelics will understand what i mean.

i think the concept of a sphere and the concept of cycles and balance represents god...passings and comings...i envisioned this while simply looking at a tree on a psychedelic...

i also thought the concept of purgatory Is existence and the afterlife is unknown but has to do with your life and how youve lead it in terms of morals..like a karma reincarnation

nihilists and possibly atheists would disagree but im not sure i was just sharing what i was feeling at that time way back when..

i think nature represents god in many ways...such as the sun...so i agree with you there.

You should read the wonderful writings of Thomas Paine. They are a couple of hundred years old now, as he was writing to Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and others of the day. Our first 3 prsidents were Diests, not Christians. I was a christian for to many years, once I began to read and understand his writings, I knew I found my way.

i agree with you cuz the sun is a part of God and we're all part of God but rship and pray to God cuz the sun is part of him......i wouldnt worship the sun cuz for example just cuz the sun is part of the universe and is just another star in the universe doesnt mean we have to worship the universe so I praise God cuz the earth and sun and universe are all part of God so us human got a little touch of God in us we're all part of God .....im so fuckin high man amen

Perhaps through the power of thier mind, they have created these gods that can only be viewed with psycodellics which is very possible. Though they are probably just elaborate thought forms.

god is mind, not some physical thing, mind before matter.

without the mind to imagine the matter, the sun would not exist.

    George Carlin said:

“Something is wrong here. War, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, and the Ice Capades. Something is definitely wrong. This is not good work. If this is the best God can do, I am not impressed. Results like these do not belong on the résumé of a Supreme Being. This is the kind of shit you'd expect from an office temp with a bad attitude. And just between you and me, in any decently-run universe, this guy would've been out on his all-powerful ass a long time ago. And by the way, I say "this guy", because I firmly believe, looking at these results, that if there is a God, it has to be a man.

No woman could or would ever fuck things up like this. So, if there is a God, I think most reasonable people might agree that he's at least incompetent, and maybe, just maybe, doesn't give a shit. Doesn't give a shit, which I admire in a person, and which would explain a lot of these bad results.

So rather than be just another mindless religious robot, mindlessly and aimlessly and blindly believing that all of this is in the hands of some spooky incompetent father figure who doesn't give a shit, I decided to look around for something else to worship. Something I could really count on.

And immediately, I thought of the sun. Happened like that. Overnight I became a sun-worshipper. Well, not overnight, you can't see the sun at night. But first thing the next morning, I became a sun-worshipper. Several reasons. First of all, I can see the sun, okay? Unlike some other gods I could mention, I can actually see the sun. I'm big on that. If I can see something, I don't know, it kind of helps the credibility along, you know? So everyday I can see the sun, as it gives me everything I need; heat, light, food, flowers in the park, reflections on the lake, an occasional skin cancer, but hey. At least there are no crucifixions, and we're not setting people on fire simply because they don't agree with us.

Sun worship is fairly simple. There's no mystery, no miracles, no pageantry, no one asks for money, there are no songs to learn, and we don't have a special building where we all gather once a week to compare clothing. And the best thing about the sun, it never tells me I'm unworthy. Doesn't tell me I'm a bad person who needs to be saved. Hasn't said an unkind word. Treats me fine. So, I worship the sun. But, I don't pray to the sun. Know why? I wouldn't presume on our friendship. It's not polite.”

The last time I was on shrooms, I came up the the that the planets are gods. Like, there is so much life and conciousness on Earth that the planet almost comes to life.

Your idea is interesting too. Don't you love the way your mind opens up to knew ideas and thoughts when you're tripping?

The fun thing about spirituality, and God, is that no one really knows anything, so it's all fair game. But then again I don't even believe in God in the traditional sense. I don't believe in an all-powerful, all-knowing, all-present being. I believe that the gods are almost like another species - beings that long, long ago were like us, but are so enlightened that their wisdom, power and existance is more than we could ever fathom as humans.

Personally, I don't believe in a god, however:
The reason the ancient civilizations all worshiped the sun is simple. It gave them live, and they are thankfull.
