Dive's photo grow log :) my last log was my first hydro attempt(titled pro hydro) the results were so good i felt the need to quit postin' pic's(still i was unsatisfied w/the end result).So this time im doin an organic type soil mix (like i usually do),and i'm gonna be more brave about postin pic's. The pics this time are of my current and future mom's,my cloner/clone's,and under all of that is my grow room w/you'll see better later.I will be happy to explain any part of my method including my prefered soil and Rating: 5

I went out today and picked up the soil ,I went w/"Fox Farm ocean forest" it looks pretty good.I also picked up a DUAL 600w hps ballast and bulbs...I'll do that instead of the 2-1000w to cut down on heat an energy use.

this is that clone I rooted in miracle grow,sitting happily in it's new home...a bucket of "ocean forest".she's waitin on her friends in the cloner to join her.

so it is beginning....I have transplanted some of our faster clone's.I also hung the new DUAL 600w hps and a single 600w hps (which is temporary). with summer comin' it's gettin too hot in there,this should fix it I also got rid of most of the seedling's ..they showed sex...lotta males/ cpl girl's.I have one more to find a home for.soon I will build the automatic watering system,until then I have a cool wand hooked to a pump in my rez. for hand waterin'.

I think everyone is waiting for those things to flower lol. I can say though I've never seen a ballast hanging from hooks like that in the air haha.

Hey, man. Lots of people have replied to you. Everyone says you have a great setup...even me! Don't get down because your thread is not as popular as you might think. Here's a tip. The only way to get a thread to keep going and getting posts is to keep updating, providing cool pics, and then...talk like a chick!

LOL No, but seriously, most of the grow threads get big because they talk about specific things...ask specific questions, talk about techniques, nutrients, lighting, etc.......and then there are the girlie threads. Those are self explanatory...I mean, they are female growers. for one, and then they talk about some crazy ass stuff, which will always get a response...even from me! Ha.

Hell, man, my threads are only big because I post BIG updates with BIG pictures!! They are informative, but not very scandalous... like Mrs. G's for example. HA She cracks me up. Always has something interesting to say, other than "look at my plants...oh how do they look?" Now, you know the secret...go grasshopper...post your heart out. LOL Make sure you equalize on the way down and do your safety stop on the way up.

Speaking of which...I should go update mine, eh?

That's neat how you hung the ballast near the ceiling...you're right summer is coming...That is a good point. As usually good log and pics, divestoned!
