I appreciate the input you three have provided thus far.

Ya the Federal sentencing guidelines which are for grows of 100 plants or definitely were a consideration for me. And after viewing grow threads for these systems on ICmag and AN forums I decided that most growers weren't successful with these damn things anyways. Plus it seems that if you get busted with one of these things even if it's a small grow it guarantee's media publicity which turns into the prosecutors not giving any leeway whatsoever.

I guess these damn things would be good for growing LowRyder... lol... I can safely grow 99 plants in my locale. In California Dr's can reccommend a number of plants that a patient can grow (up to 99) and the local and state law enforcement can do squat. Without a specific plant recommendation then a patient must adhere to their counties guidelines which can range from 6 plants to 48 or a specific canopy size. Since I've been an on and off again patient with a particular Doc since 1999 I can get the 99 plant recommendation no problems. It also helps that I have infact tried other treatments which have failed. Since I can go 99 legally it only makes sense to grow my limited number of plants big. It seems like a lot of people try to get a yield per their lighting system gr/watts. Since I don't need to keep the electricity bill down to avoid detection (which is mostly paranoia anyways since it take more that legally purchased electricity to get a search warrant) I can go with more bigger lights for plants in bigger containers. Anyways I'm covered legally for 99 plants.

Why use a homebox when I can spend 5K pimping out a whole room?
But yeah basically a marketing gimmick... if I were growing basil then maybe it would be ok...

once again thanks for the replies guys I appreciate it.
