My cat and OCD...
This is good to hear. I had quality time with Buddy when I got in this afternoon. Got him beside me on the bed and petted him and whispered sweet nothings into his ear until we both fell asleep. He was still there curled up against me when I woke up, and it was a miracle that the dogs didn't come in and scare him off, but they were taking naps, too. Hope that counted as good one-on-one time for my sweet Buddy!

I'm not sure my little Buddy could really survive in the wild. He's a breeder-bred cat, designed for his physical qualities and Siamese beauty instead of survival. The poor thing is almost so neurotic and afraid it's sad. He has never set foot outdoors and is frightened to death if the door's even slightly open. But you have to admit that he's mighty purty. . . .

My cat plays with a bottle cap between the hours of 11pm-330am relgiously, I think that could be a small case of OCD. He also can play fetch with it, and find it when you hide it from him cause he's making you want to strangle him. . . but he always finds them. I don't mind that he has a passion for some thing, but at two in the morning. . .:wtf:
P.S. You like my Av Skink? I made it for you. . .lol, you know how the cyot's love the skink. . .j/k. You inspired me bro, to bad I can't animmate.

Poor pure-bred Buddy! I should never have gotten a pet from a breeder. The best pets I've ever had were mutts. They're healthier and more sane and balanced. My other kitty, OJ, is just a regular street tabby, and he's the most well adjusted pet you could ever want to meet.

I was crying and feeling sorry for myself one day while surfing the Web and I happened across a breeder in Florida who sold applehead Siamese cats, which were a type of cat I'd seen a lot in Disney movies as a kid. I made the decision to get this cat impulsively and when I was not in a good emotional state to be buying anything, much less a pet.
Lesson learned. This past fall when my sister Bess was dying and Buddy was beside himself with insanity and fear because of all the hospice workers going in and out of the house, Dave said "When this is all over, you can get yourself a stuffed toy if you need grief consolation, but please, no more pure-bred pets, OK?" He was right. I'm going to adopt mutts and shelter pets from now on!\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"

I love my kitty...he's sucha baby. He doesnt have claws in the front (not our descision mind you, when he was first born my aunt got it done and then when i was born he was given to my family) and he likes to "explore" and last year he tried to figure out what the squirrel was. Well he got to close and the squirrel chased his ass to the deck. He was missing fur from behind his legs and ears...hes stupid but hes so cute! His names Magic!
