Man... i started reading the link about the DEA position about marijuana, but could not finish even the 1st chapter.
I am a very calm, peaceful, almost-zen people, but reading that filled me with such anger, hatred and fury i just could not keep reading...
:cursing:
As for the question about the good/bad things about mj:
Good:
Gives you new ways for percieving the world, deep insights about things, more apreciation about the simple things of life (like a sunset, etc), increase the pleasure of doing almost everything, gives you peace, happiness, very good times with another buddies, increase friendship (towards other smokers), and a lot of another things the people already posted.
Bad:
If used too much can cause lazyness, some loss of motivation, some loss of short-term memory, costs $$, and can give you some problems as it is illegal.
I am half-Christian, and believe is not any sin to smoke weed. Its a creation of God, and it makes us enjoy and appreciate better His other creations. For me, weed did make me more closer to God. After i started to smoke i started to notice hints of His goodness everywhere. I can say in some ways weed make me more religious than i was.
So, i think you should stop just thinking and try it. After know how is to be high, then think if you want continue smoking or not.
Anyway, good luck!
