St. Patrick's Day is my favorite holiday! Went shopping today, picked out a couple of pretty corned beef briskets, couple nice heads of cabbage, some red potatoes, a six pack of Guinness, and two loafs of raisin soda bread for desert! I never go out, as it's "amateur night", and it's actually a real holiday for my friends and family... We all just "hang out", and have a huge meal together... Trust me, after a big plate of boiled dinner, and a Guinness or two, and some soda bread, we don't want to go ANYWHERE, or even LOOK at food or beer for at least 12 hours!
