    Question about seeds...

I got seeds and I'm trying to set up a grow (my first time) and I was wondering am I going to have the same quality weed on my plants as the weed I got the seeds from, or does the growing method allow for me to grow better or worse(hopefully not worse) quality weed?

    Question about seeds...

Let me try to answer this question.

You are working with bag seed, yes?

It is entirely possible to get equal or better smoke with seeds that you got in some dank weed.

It is common for commercial weed to be harvested early so it can be put on the market. So if the seeds grow well and are taken care of they can provide better and stronger weed.

There is an unknown variable here though. You do not know the genetics of the weed. If it is indica or stativa. Indica grows quicker in most cases. If it is Stativa it will usually take longer to mature. Stativas can get really tall too. It could be a cross of both.

If you can get the seed to germinate and do not take care of it properly and harvest it early the weed will be lower quality.

However that being said, some of my best plants have come from bag seed.

Since this is your first grow it is smart to learn from bag seed. It will help you learn growing.

I have talked in variables here. You asked a general question without any specifics.

Are you growing indoor or outdoor.? If you are growing indoor what light source are you using? What fertilizers and nutrients are you using? What will you grow in (soil, hydro)?

You have your work ahead of you. That is okay. all the info is here on this site.

But it is up to you to determine the plant quality.

    Question about seeds...

Thanks for the answer, I got 45 seeds from comercial weed that looks good and I think was havested too early like you said, and i got 6 dank seeds. I'm planing to start them indoors and then moving them outdoors. I dont have too many other detlais of my grow worked out but I probably will organize all of that over my spring break.
