    BigBud heat stress.

ok guys im gonna make this quick, my ph is level, my nutes are at 1700, my 400 watter is about 1 foot from canopy, im using botonicare products liquid karma and pure blend pro, res change about every 8 days, temps are about 80 lights on. Ok now im getting this spots on mainly the bud leaves, little rust like spots, looks like heat burn or something but it really doesnt feel hot under there. Any one seen this before, its just a couple small spots per leave nothing is spreading, it kinda looks like a very mild case of calcium deff, but there is plently of Ca. You guys think its just burn from the light, my top bud sites also are looking skinnier then the lower ones. Also i think im finding f-ckin bananas, i pulled off what looked like a male flower today never saw it before, only on branch is showing this.

Jack just to cover all the bases....your plants aren't getting wet under the light in those spots are they?

nope, there was a spike in the ppms to 2000 for about a day and then i lowered it once i noticed it, could there have been a lock up in the leaves... to much salts drying up before the plant uses them?

That sure sounds possible to me just absorbed too much. Have you seen an improvement or is it just the same since you fixed ppms?

Are the tips of the bud growing skinny like yet because mine got to that point. I've had Mg, Cal, and Boron problems. I use advanced nutrients Cal/Mg and it takes care of all three problems, this is my first grow so I've had to learn how to tweek the recipe for my plants. Good luck.

the tips of some of them are growing skinny like the main cola, but everything else is fat as hell.

Yeah boron. once I fixed the problem I had pompoms growing on top of the skinny tip so I just chopped them off and watched the bottom swell up nice and fat after. I thought it was heat stress too after seeing that elongated bud thread. Hey we figured it out. Yeah us!

yeah definatly this was something i had no idea about, for some reason the organic nutrients if u add to much it becomes a boron def. instead of it showing nutrient burn, but it kinda is becuase the leaves are pretty much burning from the effects just a different kind of burn. im going to take down the ppms a bit i was waiting for a nutrient burn to show up but instead i got this.. eh figure..at least we are one up on the problem list:thumbsup:
