It gets me down because it makes me feel alien, and i'm not the only once. I know a whole network of un-lads. Our thing isn't birds and beers, it's beats and blunts. We don't drink and get shallow, we toke and get deep. We enjoy a good circle of kickups but i'll never watch a football match with eager fascination. And for the last fucking time... JORDAN IS NOT ATTRACTIVE!

Nah, i'm not here to label anyone a lad like it's necessarily a bad thing. It's the principle of the matter. In my opinion, lad culture is almost a celebration of our countries worst characteristics. Unsafe sex, drunken violence, hooliganism. What else is being a 'lad' about, nahsayin'?

Apologies if I sounded like a bellend . Smoke some  !
jordan is pretty fit but yeah im pretty cheap myself thats why i go to the pub (get other people to the round in)

and i have to admit when the football is on im glued to the screen if its a big game or if scotland ,rangers or arsenal are playing

bluntblaze Reviewed by bluntblaze on . British 'lad' culture I tell you man, one thing that pisses me off about this country is this whole lad culture bullshit. It's a totally alien thing to me and I can only think of 'laddism' from an 'us and them' point of view. To clarify for those not in the UK, laddism is the term coined for the FHM generation of 20 something males. The idea put forth by most tabloid newspapers and mens magazines such as Loaded, FHM, Zoo and Maxim is that if your a young male in Britain, you almost definitely: 1. Go out on the Rating: 5
