    Colbert killed a Virgin!!!!

LOL, nice title. . . Anyway, I have been watching Colbert for a while now and all I see is a hack. I'm sure alot disagree, but I think when you really break him down, he is just a poor mans Steve Carell. His show is cheap, and all it has is wannabee Carell moments. All I am really trying to say is that, all though he has The Office, I don't think he gets the appreciation he deserves. . .

Whatever though, just had to vent. . .I hate imitator's, and yes I get the irony.

    Colbert killed a Virgin!!!!

I respect your opinion but I disagree. I find him to be witty and amusing, many a time i've seen his show blazed as hell, in stiches.

Ya, I forgot to say that although it bugs me, I can't help but enjoy it. Very witty, I just wish Carell would get off his ass and do shit similar or better. . .it's a guilty pleasure. . . I just hate seeing what I want someone else to being doing.

its kinda apples and oranges don't you think? I mean, Colbert is all satire. Ok, ok, the office is satirical I'm sure, but, Carell isn't doing things like he used to back in his daily show days.

Which is cool. He's going another direction.

They're both just the type whose comedy stems from the delivery more than the joke (if that makes sense). But I still view them as different enough that I really have to disagree with you.

I see your point, and the show I just watched kinda changed the way I look at it. But I still see alot of duplication. . . . it keeps reminding me of Bruce Almighty. . .

    Colbert is a brilliant satirist.

His character on the Report is incredibly devoleped. The dude is money.

Yeah, that's kinda my point. . . I guess I just noticed the good timing of Colbert, cause I don't know if this show would of made it before Carell, but again it's just me. . .

Huh? Colbert was hired by the Daily Show in '97, Carell in '99. And before that were both cast members on a very short lived "The Dana Carvey show"
