First plants ever!

My first plants ever havent even sprouted yet

Dont you just hate waiting for that?

Thing is.. im not sure if there even guna sprout. i used pretty dry flimsy seeds that were pretty shrively from killer bud.. all I can do is hope for the best ill keep everyone updated

From what I've read from your post you didn't germinate the seeds if I understand correctly, and you just put them in soil?

First rule to growing or method is to germinate, search it.

You can lay towelettes criss crossing on top of each other and put the seeds in, then spray the towels until damp. Next lay the towelettes in a dry, dark area. In a day or so the seed should crack open showing the seedling. :hippy:

I've found that when you find a seed in a good bag of nug It usally dosn't sprout. Theres a reason you only found a few.

Edit: Dark, *WARM* area. IE: behind a mini-fridge.

Also, the only real benefit to germinating prior to planting is knowing for sure which ones are viable seeds before you plant, you will be fine just sticking them in the dirt. Remember, warmth is the key to quick germination.

Plus seeds from even dankest bud generally aren’t mature enough to grow.. if they do, they will generally produce little and be prown to disease. Sorry man!

Were the seeds dark brown? If they were, you are good to go. I like to germinate mine in a dark coffee mug with distilled water. I put it on my furnace in a day or two the seed splits. Agressive buggers sometime have a tail already out. Then I place it in a cup with a few granuales of dirt over it. Water well. Don't let dry out.

Usually when you find a few beans in a good bag, it may have that the plant was pollinated late in flowering. You will probably have a better chance of that plant being a female...Having said that you will have a more likely have a female with hermie traits.

Shriveled, huh? May still get something, never know.

Oh yeah, i found that most of the ones that are gonna pop will pop in 18-24 hours when you use the warmth from the mini fridge. I put them in a wet paper towel in a baggie that is blown up just a bit to act like a greenhouse. Then I toss it in that part where the compressor is on the back of the fridge and check back the next day. Works like a charm, perfect dark warm environment.

Pot germinates so fast compared to other seeds like peppers for instance. Some tropical varieties of pepper can take six weeks or more, and i found out that some seeds for things like carnivorous plants can take over a year and a half. Pot, 18 fuckin hours, tell me that isn't a plant begging you to grow it lol.
