i know i'll probably get flamed with u get what u pay for or whatever, but i want to know if this is an isolated case or not. i ordered an hps light and rapid rooters from insidesun.com and nothing has come yet. i had emailed back and forth with a michael H. a few times last week when i was curious why at a week its site said the items were still awaiting shipment. he replied saying they would be shipped out that week by dhl and would be arriving by tuesday. i said ok and was happily waiting. i know its only wednesday, but at 2 weeks i get worried. his site still says awaiting shipment, i have not gotten any replies by email and i was not given a tracking number or anything. there isn't much i can personally do, apparently i'm just screwed. just letting people know about my experience. thank you for those who have read this. have a nice evening everyone

yup... the 'sometime' is about what my experience was too.

And I still went back and ordered from them again. I've got 3 lights from there. They're okay... The shipping is pretty darn slow, but I think it's because when you order a light, he has to assemble it; I don't get the impression that it's a big operation and that he keeps finished lights in stock.

Call him, he DOES answer messages, which I appreciated and that's why I used him again.

It's not like he doesn't have a phone number listed on the website. Call the number..I'll even give it to you. (317) 345 1369 Call him and ask him what's going on...Stinky, I completely agree. However the second light I ordered from him I placed the order on a friday I think it was and by tuesday I had my light. Seems about right that he has maybe some pieces sent to him from other places, puts the lights together, and ships them out.

How old are you bro? I'm only 17 and if I didn't get a reply from one e-mail and I had sent money...I would most certainly call after about three days and no word..don't be rude...find out what the situation is..could be anything. You've given him money, and you will get what you paid for.

Yup. One of the reasons that I think it's all assembled in-house is that the batwing reflectors look homemade- well done, but with no decals or branding on them like more commercialized stuff, and the edges of the hanger bars on the reflectors, and the steel that the ballasts are made of, has not been deburred kinda sharp and definitely not something that a larger company would send out I suspect.
The batwings look like they are simply formed using a sheet metal break and then painted with auto-body grade paint or chromed. I'm not complaining; I actually like them fine- I prefer the white ones personally.

It works for me...I'm expecting a cool tube within the next few days, and I like how I'll be able to remove the socket from this batwing rather well and the cool tube should be able to be put on the reflector rather easily..I've got a small fan blowing on my ballast and it's still pretty warm but it's not too bad any more. I love it for $105 though. Beats the others I've seen...In my closet, I'm digging the cool tube and hope it works great for me. These lights are ideal for that I would say..especially since I'm on a tight budget..well..not really I just hate spending money, but this certainly sounded well worth the money...suck the heat away and keep the light closer...closer light = more developed and potent buds..

Order from bghydro.com, all I can say. I am not comfortable oredering from some halfassed operation where they are most likely trying to buy parts to assemble what they have sold, etc. Phuck all that. Cheap is usually not the best, If it is, I have never found it to be that way. There is an old saying that goes something like this, "Get what ya pay for, pay for what ya get". No truer words spoken.
