    such beautiful weather for skating

just wait til you start ollieing down curbs. its scary at first but its fun when you get it.

then you can move to two stairs and so on.

once your good at ollies try ollieing up curbs to get the feel of getting more height. its like an exercise. it worked for me at least.

    practice grinding curbs first.

actually my advice to you is to make a funbox and practice on that.

to me, rails are so much harder than ledges and such. if youre not good at them, the board will shoot out from under you and youll fall on your back or your face.

and as for gaps, get good at ollieing at the speed of light.

Bro, any day is a good day to learn to skate. . . lol. How old are you? I am sure you will get it eventually, just don't look down while doing anything. Maybe a glance or two to check your footing but focus on the landing and the rest will come to you when the time is right. . .

and remember you can always kick it old school and Caveman it. . .

Practice your landings, that's the hardest part about skating. . . Just do some bomb drops off of shit. . . the practice them with a running start. . . it will click and you will get going. . .

yeah, I can't wait to get back on my board but I still got another month of snow before i'll be able to.
With the Ollie you just gota keep practicing...Try ollieing a deck or something while moving. One thing I learned from skating is u gotta just commit to landing the trick and not be scared about falling or else you will.
    Peace
