I'm not in the job search right now but I'd suggest checking online government sites. A lot of my friends found jobs using internet sites that can point you in the direction of local work (eg. Factory shit). Also, spend a day and just swamp every store with a resume, someone will get in touch with you. Oh, and to beat the University students I'd suggest doing it this month.

I know you don't want to hear it but at 17 without a high school degree you are going to have trouble getting well paid jobs
