Newby needs help / male or female plant here
The ones I had looked just like that and had seeds. (They could be just swollen calyaxes too as you mentioned whisky). Burst one open, you'll know the difference. Hard, seed. Squishy, swollen calyx.

It started showing the nice little white hairs about a week into flowering, and now it looks like it getting some balls coming out of the bud sites. Theres white hairs coming out of these balls, so being new to this, Im not sure if thats how the buds grow, or if its making seeds. Theres no signs of seeds on the main stems, just coming of the bud sites. So, my question is this, is it male or female ? I have 4 plants, and the other 3 are a Rating: 5

OK, this is where I get confused. Will seeded females grow bannanas and balls like a hermie? None of mine have those. When I squeesed open a few of these "calyxes" they had hard round things inside that appeared to be imature seeds (No hard shell to them).

Thread-pawner. If one could look and see whether a female had seeds or not by glancing at a photo then they are superman with x-ray eyes. Where's my money?
Slow....not sure how you got the idea that making babies (seeds) somehow makes women grow a penis and balls. But it doesn't. pay me.

How do you tell the difference between a normal female calyex and a seed pod before the white hairs appear?

Slow I can't even tell if it IS a female before the white hairs appear. That IS how I can tell.....the white hairs appear. I haven't had the issue so I can't really say but I think Bree answered pretty well from her seed experience. And I don't think they even CAN get pregnant before the hairs appear but I am not sure on that so don't spread it around.

Exactly.....right right right. Did I say you were right? lol. Anyways, slow, those are seeds that you squished. Now you need to get out your magnifying glass and look to see if you have male parts anywhere on your fems. IF you don't see any, you probably got pregnant when you had males in the room....and you are in the clear. Keep your clones in limbo no matter(meaning move them just far away enough from your light to keep them from getting too big while in waiting). Also, if your clones are in the same room as where the suspected males were, next watering wash them down well with water. Hopefully they don't have tons of hairs that picked up jizz. Clean your room a bit with bleach water and if you need to water your flowering ladies I would spray them down with water too for good measure. This may not help any with these current plants but will get rid of any residual sperm (?) that may be hanging around. Like I said keep cking trichs. You have pregnant plants and they finish fast.

EDIT: if you did find male parts, remove them carefully with tweezers and then take the ladies out of room and spray with water.

Bree - If you were talking to me (I sorta pawned this thread) then...One plant and a few branches of another were seeded females. I am drying them now. The other two plants are female and very very very close to harvest (I hope! First time growing and clear to amber tri's are taking forever. Patience has never been one of my virtues! LOL)
