i know a few girls that really like a guy thats like their father. so if you can find out what her old man does to make her feel special, she'll probably eat it up.


this is just my experience, a few girls are like this, not all.

Listen to her when she talks. Remember things that are important to her, like birthdays, her likes and dislikes. A lot of guys give flowers, which are great. But my favorite present I ever ever got was a book that I had been wanting for ages. The guy was just a friend of mine, but he took the time to pick up cues from our conversations and got me the perfect gift.

Be nice to her mother/father/siblings/family.

Don't belittle her. Ask her opinions on things.
Don't talk about your ex girlfriends ad nauseum. Don't ogle other girls when you're with her. Focus on her.

Tell her she makes you feel special. Then tell her why/how.

I'm sure there's more. Those are just some.

:S Good lord: I'm assuming that's all men answering, but I'll tell you, if I got approached like that I'd definitly not feel special, I'd feel dirty. So if y'all don't mind, here's it from a girl's perspective, and to be fair, I'm not much of a girly girl either so if you're dealing with a girlie girl, different tactics no doubt apply. The cute thing: annoying. Unless of course the woman in mind is obviously trying to be cute.

What makes me feel special is usually actually only looks. When I catch a guy looking at me more than normal, it makes me feel special because he's suddenly more interested in me than other guys are.

Other than that, sincere compliments are always great, especially those that are not generic, that are appropriate to the situation, and that compliment an aspect of me that I'm proud of. So I guess in order to pay a good compliment, you have to figure out what your woman is trying to do/be and then compliment her when she's doing something related to it. For example, if she spends tons of time doing makeup, tell her she looks good. She obviously cares about how she looks. Telling a woman who doesn't wear makeup and doesn't do her hair she looks good might not compliment her because chances are she doesn't place a lot of value on her looks. Pay attention to her.

Attention really makes a girl feel special (but not attention in a creepy, stalkerish, desperately horny matter... if you know what I mean you don't have to worry). Just say hi, ask her how she's doing, (and LISTEN TO THE GODDAMN ANSWER!!), help her if it looks like she needs help, commiserate if she seems down.... ya, I think pay attention is pretty well the foolproof way to make a girl feel special.

sometimes corny and cheesy is corny and cheesy, but sometimes women like that.

my lady has the most beautiful eyes ive ever seen, and im not scared to tell her. i still tell her whenever i get the stare haha!
