^^^ well i think its pretty obvious to any "stoner" when you get red eye its the blood vessels in your eyes opening up as cannabis is a muscle relaxent, thus making it easier for the blood to pass as pressure would be released

Excellent point Chisme. You can die from too much of anything. Some of these folks have a point....no one's going to ingest an oz or something... but so many people want to forget that it is a drug.....like any other drug....side effects and all. I sometimes wonder if people just WANT to believe it's harmless because they use it.

PS I use my share of it too....alot....but I know better than to say it is harmless.

It is physically impossible to overdose from smoking cannabis therefore it makes it SAFER then alcohol and tobacco. Those LEGAL drugs KILL hundreds of thousands of people a year, that is a FACT. I wish freedom to all the non violent cannabis users who are being imprisoned for executing their free will by consuming a plant which causes no harm and or suffering to anyone. LEGALIZE!

I have had laser surgery on my left eye and am scheduled for it on my right at the end of the month because of Glaucoma. Glaucoma is simply "elevated eye pressure". I had a reaction to a topical steroid which had caused a slight bit of permanent damage and an elevated pressure which caused a tempoary loss of vision.

Redness and reduced pressure are not directly related, ie red eyes have nothing to do with lower eye pressures. I smoke daily and never get red eyes. There are numerous factors that can attribute to "elevated eye pressure". Furthermore, it is not blood that builds up pressure but more of a water substance.

Think of the eye as a sink. Water is on, drain is draining. With glaucoma, you could have a clogged drain, or a faucet that is on "too much" ie overflowing=high pressure. I am not sure if weed "slows down the water" or "unclogs the drain"....

My eye Dr. told me I have really big pupils...

I thought they could not find an LD 50 for rats by injecting it with THC.... and by any chance does any one know whats the most bud any one has consumed ever? like the world record? I mean if I decided to orally consume an ounce of cooked bud... like would any one have any idea what it would feal like? :stoned:
