I have a few questions about growing...

Ok well I one day want to grow and now I am starting to do some reading up on the subject. Anyways I am most probally gonna be stuck usuing bagseed... but were I live I cant find any seeds in the good bud and I gonna have to use swagg seeds... but I dont really care because I thought if I grow the swagg seeds under good conditions I can at least make sensi swagg. But here are some of my concerns... How do I control the height of a plant from a random seed? I would have no clue what or how tall the plant is going to be. So I heard like once the plant is like 1/3 the height I want to be .. thats when I start the 12/12 light cycle... am I correct? I gonna consider buying HID lights for vegging and HPS for flowering. Now is heat really a probelm with these? I have a nice little closet I would like to grow just 4 plants in. But all this stuff on cutting holes in the walls and ventilation and wiring... confuses the hell out of me.. cant i just put a fan in the room or maybe 2 fans to control the heat and at the same time it and will give the airflow for the plant also? Also what happens when I am growing and I loose power for 2 days? would the plants die? or can plants go a few days with out light? What do I do about watering my plants of I have to leave the house for a few days for like a trip to the beach etc... how would I water the plants ( i wanna do soil grow). Anyways whats wrong with starting 12/12 right from seedling stage... could it cause sex related problems. I just looking for a quick harvest... so if i do decide to grow soon I would like to harvest withing 2 months from seedling to harvest... is it possible? thats why i was considering flowering from 12/12 since the begining. Also can some one give me a good websight to buy HPS and HID lights on.. (not ebay i want brand new lights)? but what size light for hps and hid should I get to grow 4 - 6 plants? .. anyways can you tell me if I some what understand how cannabis grows. first i germinate,,, then i put in soil and put under lights and they are in seedling stage until they start to get a lil big and start to make brances etc? and when ever I want to start flowering I just set the light cycles from 18/6 to 12/12? ( whats better for veg 24 or 18/6? ) and for fertz cant i just use miracle grow? and after i put them in 12/12 the plants show sex after a few weeks? ... then i remove males.... and then when the bud forms i harvest when the 2/3 of the pistils change colors? then i let hang in dark place for week or 2? so do i have the basic concept of growing or where am i off? thanks so much if u can help me out.... ( i dont care if i have to grow swagg... i just love cannabis and one time in my life I want to succesfully grow the plant of my dreams)

I not lazy really... well at times but if i were lazy i wouldent type that huge post .... but what ever I gonna search for more answers and if I cant find any ill just post a new updated version of this post that is shorter with less questions that I cannot find answers to... [How do I control the height of a plant from a random seed? ] the same way you control the heigth of a $10,000.00 seed, you flower your girl knowing she is going to grow APPROXIMATLY another 1/3 to 1/2 whatever her height is at the flip. A 12" plant will usually go to 18" to 24" when finished her strech.

[I gonna consider buying HID lights for vegging and HPS for flowering. ] High Intensity Discharge, and High pressure Sodium is the same thing...as well a MH or Metal Halide. I would recomend, a floro set up for early veg, germination stages, and then to power veg HPS/MH combo. I'm a firm believer in combo lighting.

Look, if your going to risk your freedom, your future, possible jail time, and complete loss of college loans and whatnot...I think you should do yourself a favor, read as someone above suggested, ever facet of growing, building, and maintaining a grow. Then make a detailed plan of how much product you need and tripple that, now build your set up to provide you with that amount in mind.

Doing a grow halfassed, is inviting disaster! At best a waste of time, resources. At worst, you can be bunking with Bubba!!

LOTS OF QUESTIONS MATE! always look to buy quality seeds.dont try and cut out time if you want a turn around in 2 months dont bother starting it aint going to happen.i agree with cross lighting,so a 250 hps and 150 mh will be fine for the flowering stage,as for growthi use 150 mh and 250 enviro light works well from me.you doing the right thing getting as much information as you can before you start.as for ventilation it will be needed in a small closet it may sound difficult but its not really.you want an air vent in and vent out,on a small scale you can use a computer fan i does the job,just keep an eye on your temps and humidity.i veg under 24 light as i takes about a week out of my veg period,which meens from seed to hanging to dry takes just over 3 months,but then then the full drying process takes that long aswell,i am not saying your weed wont be smokeable after a couple of weeks,but a decent cureing time only improves the smoke.
i usually turn my plants from veg to flower when they have 5 nodes,5 sets of leaves moving up yhe plant and never really get any hieght issues.well i hope that gives you a bit more information,but if you need anymore you are on the right site there is lots of people with a huge amount of knowledge available.just keep posting and you will get the knowledge you need.good luck and my the force be with you!!!
