Just smoked my first handrolled joint

That thing hit so damn hard, i couldn't even inhale and now im barely even high. But i remember when my rolled us a joint that thing hit so smooth. I heard closed end joints are easier to toke off of but all the tutorials on this sight don't say how to do that. And bongs are to loud fo rmy current setting. My pipes hit hard, but the one i smoked with my friend ( which was nothing more than a coke can with hoels) still hit smooth. Any help, suggestons tips, ect?

When I first started, I wasn't grinding up the weed enough and it didn't burn well at all, it would run and go out constantly, and when I would try and light it the paper would burn faster than the weed, charring everything and wasting good bud.
Get a decent grinder and practice constantly, check out some rolling tutorials on youtube if you need tips on rolling, or just find a friend who rolls and learn from them.

im only 14 so i cant get a grinder. Right now i just use razor blades.
