Changing A.N. To G.H
Just out of curiosity whats your opinion on changing nute brands in the grow cycle. I have used advanced nutrients from the beginning but was pondering the idea of trying the general hydroponics nutes on the next res change. Bad idea? Just curious!

in fact, it could be good because each brand of nutrients have its own recipes and most of the time nutes won't be produced and fermented the same way and thus having slight variations in molecules combinations... oh well i'm getting it in too deep but i think you get the idea
try it and it shall reward you somehow in the end!

well what i think mafia is trying to say is that GH might make up for a deficiency in the AN nutes, thereby giving your plants the full range of nutrients that it needs to grow big fat buds

Okay thats cool but I thought they both were pretty much the same as far as ingredients. If I went with the GH could I still use Big Bud bloom enhancer by AN.
Peace

Its not something you really want to do, in the case of AN and GH though I think its ok...they are very similar. Use the bloom enhancer...im only saying this because they are so similar.

Yeah I am not going to take a chance. I will complete this grow with AN and then next grow Use GH and see if I see any difference. Probably wont.

Just out of curiousity on nute prices...
I'm using the powdered maxi line which is powdered rather than a mixed solution...I found this to be one of the cheapest by GH and so far it's worked pretty well...has anyone found a reason to go with liquid nutes over the powder? I paid like 35 bucks for all 3 in the line and at the end of my 3rd cycle I still have plenty more...
