cleaning your hydro equipment...We use way hot hot water and like a cup of bleach in our laundry tubs and scrub everything w/ a scotchbrite pad / scouring pad .

Are you reusing all your tubing ? I've had algee grow in the transparent blue garbage from G/H . I replaced it all w/ blk. stuff from HomeDepot and am hoping that just a flush of it all w/ flora clean will be good enough now ?
 Peace Bud

cleaning your hydro equipment...I use H202....about a quart per 15 gals....so 2 quarts or so for the 8 waterfarms after I've scrubbed everything with hot water and rinsed through all the #(!*$# medium thoroughly. Then I run the peroxide through the system for 2 days and empty it. If any gets missed the H202 becomes water anyway so no worries. For the tubing I got a pipe brush thing from Amazon.com and it works terrific to get the algae out.

Just wanted to make sure the bleach was cool. right on!

 budluv.

p.s. crispi the blueberry turned purply a few days ago. I'm chopping it on thurs night or friday morning. I took down about an ounce 8-9 days ago and even though it's early and only partially cured it's some solid smoke!

 Weedhound ,
We just germed a few sour northernlights x nevilles haze . Sativa dominant stuff cause I've been a useless hunk of goooo since all the blueberries been done / way couch lock . You said something about not topping your sativas , just L.S.T ? Were only gonna do 2 in the new style buckets . Im afraid to top them a lil , I dont need like 6-8 tops that are hard to control and havta worry about tying them all down . What were your yields like w/ the sativas ?

 Gotta run
 Peace all

cleaning your hydro equipment...Yeah I thought about buying new medium but I found it to be more work then just rinsing stuff through....all that red dust....plus maybe i'm the only one with this problem but it always seems to take a few res changes for the ph to stabilize w/new medium. One of my last plants ....well never mind. That's why my hydro guy suggested running H202 through the system for a few days to kill off anything I may have missed during rinsing and (cross fingers) so far I haven't had any problems in that direction.

X-C I really like to top everything once or twice. I found with my indica-things last time that they didn't do well with lst but the sativa things loved it and went crazy. But I topped them both. I had two sativa based plants and they came up with 2oz on one and almost 3 oz on the other. My indicas on the other hand came up pretty flat....about 1 and 1/2 oz apiece plus the 3/4 oz from the early one I picked.

Sorry we took over your thread bud-luv.
