i know... lol i got bit on the arm when i was little, (i didnt know it was a horsefly) so i kept scratchin it... obviously with a horsefly bite the more you scratch the more they itch... i got home and my arm was bright red, swollen up and rock solid... i was only about 6.. it felt like my arm was on fire, it literally just went rock hard, like i was tensing all the muscles in one arm, and it was literally bright red...Yeah we have horseflies. Luckily Ive only been bitten by one once. but damn did it hurt!
that was hell for me... i spent a week of my summer holidays doing nothing but sitting in pain...
now i just HATE those little bastards, last time a saw one we were all sat on a bridge by a river skinnin up, and one flew right onto my hand while i was doin it... needless to say i was up in seconds, i dropped the L-plate on the floor and just jumped off the bridge, the second my feet hit the bottom of the river i just ran as hard as i could away from the bridge..
i dont know what it is... ill hold a honeybee in my hand.. but a horsefly...no fucking way....
hey, purple banana... have you seen it when hornets go for the japanese honeybees? they are pretty much the same little bees, but they signal to each other, and when the time is rite they all jump the hornet together, then they start buzzing and warming up really hot, they get it to temperatures one degree to hot for the hornet, and one degree under whats too hot for honeybees... they basically burn it alive... how ghetto is that?

Never seen it, but I think that'd be really cool to see. We don't get japanese honeybees over here.
