enough airflow?
Hang the scrubber from the ceiling and run it next to the lights, wont take up any room - It'll grab more heat and promote better airflow, butmay shorten the life of the carbon/kitty litter though. Nothing smelly exhausts from my room, just warm de-stinkified air.
As said earlier, most good fans tend to work a little more efficiently when sucking through a restriction, rather than blowing through one - which is why most of the time the scrubber is on the suction side. You CAN blow through them as well (I have), but may be compromising the cooling of your light and the airflow in the room. If blowing through a filter I'd say go one fan size upTokudai Reviewed by Tokudai on . enough airflow? Hey all, quick question. my cabinet is 41"x30"x63" tall, Ive just ordered a 400w hps and plan on making the diy cooltube. Myfan is 6" 449cfm. my plan was to hook the fan upto the cool tube and after the fan, outside the cab to carbonscrubber. Do you think this will be enough ventilation, or do i also need an exhaust fan at the top of the cab? Also, what size passive intake hole would you suggest? Thanks Rating: 5
