In Canada Tobacco products require I.D and the customer needs to be 19 in anywhere other than Quebec (it's 18 in Quebec only)

I work at a headshop selling bongs, papers and ... even lighters.. I get to I.D kids all the time.

I put the lines on the belt and get up to the cashier and she tells me I have to be 18 and have an ID. I was pretty surprised.....I had no clue you had to be 18 to buy some fucking lighters....what's the big deal. Has anyone heard of having to be 18 to buy lighters? Do you kids under 18 get denied lighters? Rating: 5
