And the reason Marijuana is still illegal is because the US Government cannot regulate and collect on the taxes of said Marijuana. Most of that weed is grown in someones hidden grow room that does not take kindly to paying taxes on something they grew in their home even if they are growing for sales for profit.

Now, if America was to take over growing Mariuana, would they bump up the price? Or lower it?
