^ lol........true that! I figured if I planted 3 to a Jiffy and got 1 for each Jiffy, I would be good. Soooooo.....when all 3 broke ground and started growing.....being the kind of guy I am....I just couldn't kill any so I repotted them in the Dixies and now have 3X what I was shooting for.

Not sure where you live, but from what I have educated myself on, you could/should start those tomatos and peppers 4 - 6 weeks prior to date of last frost so that they can get a good start and be ready when that date arrives. Be sure and "harden off" (meaning acclimate them to the outdoors) the tomatoes for a couple of weeks before planting them in the garden after the last frost.
