I know I need to just learn the basics so I can move to Commi-pinko land (just kiddin') and learn to speak it fluently. Is anyone else learning or know how to speak Chinese? Hahaha, that's what I was thinking. Aren't you using a translator too though?

Anyhow, I can speak Mandarin pretty well. I studied it in college for two years here in the U.S., then moved to China for a year or so and studied it there. Plus my wife is Chinese so I constantly practice with her. My in-laws don't speak a word of English so when we communicate it's all in Chinese. Funny thing though, my 3 year old daughter is already correcting my tones. "Baba, ni shou de bu dui. Shi tang(2), bu shi tang(4)."
