They don't have to "Mirandize" everyone, only folks they detain or take into custody whom they're about to ask questions of relating to the commission of crimes. This is a popular misconception that everyone has to be read his Miranda rights, and everyone doesn't. In this case, you weren't questioned. You were caught with weed and paraphernalia and arrested and booked on those charges. If they caught you and thought you'd robbed someplace or committed a murder and needed to hold you and ask you questions about those suspected crimes, then they'd have had to Mirandize you. But in this case, they didn't.
