cool thanks everybody. I guess that confirms it then. I will keep everyone posted on how well they do once they root. The rockwool had one root poking out the bottom so I watered with super diluted nutrients and planted it in organic soil. I don't see any reason anybody could even advise against doing this cause once the roots are expanded out into the soil it shouldn't matter how much or how little water the rockwool retains.

I know you are supposed to use peat pellets or jiffy rooters if you know you are going to be transplanting into soil, but I tried cloning with jiffy rooters and only 1 clone survived. We planted that one and decided to take another clone for good measure but only had rockwool (thats what worked best for us last time anyways) and now I planted it! Rating: 5
