10 things people need to learn
Number 9 gets on my nerves the most. like this one time, my "friend" came over to smoke...and i said "wait here..im gonna go get my stash" so i went into my room..left the door a little bit open....he SHOULD have been sitting on the couch when i came out. instead, he was standing right next to the door. So i looked at him and said leave. and he got all pissed off like "man...so i came all the way here for nothing" i said "looks that way...get ur ass out of here now"

Yea, I understand, these things get to me too. If it's someone I've met recently, I'll tell them to chill out, second warning and they're gone. If you're new you really need to watch yourself, make sure you're not pissing anyone off, ESPECIALLY if they're smoking you up.
I know it's harder with friends you've known for a while, I have some of these problems too. It gets very hard, because you don't want to ruin the friendship, but you want them to stop acting like dicks.
Some rules I'd like to add:
- If you don't have enough money for food for yourself, don't go buying weed. Basic necessities should always come first. This ties in with them eating all your food, it's the cause : /
- Get. A. Goddamned. Vehicle. I don't mind giving people rides places on occassion, but I have friends who live 10 minutes away (and therefore 10 minutes back) who call me for rides that take an hour... I always say no... especially if you're 18 or older, get a goddamned car.
- Nobody cares how much better the weed you can get is. You're smoking off my stuff, you didn't provide any. No bitching.

10 things people need to learn
I always feel insulted when someone offers money for a smoke session. First of all, the bud I have that is valued at $5 a bowl or something means nothing. Replacing that bud with five bucks is not equitable to me. The bud is worth much more than any monatery figure. If I have five bucks, it's not going to go toward more bud, because then I would need another forty or so to get another sac. Waht does that 5 bucks go to? cheeseburgers. So fundamentally, I'm getting burgers in exchange for rare and difficult to acquire magical herb. That is not a fair trade. I like trading buds for buds and smoking with others who will throw down a new variety of bud. If they don't have it, please don't offer money, just remember my genorosity today and reciprocate in the future when I'm in need. It's the only just tradeoff to me.
As for the other aforementioned rules; they are easily avoided when you're not playing host. I fucking hate hosting anybody, really. that way I don't need to micromanage all those damn elements where your typical smoker buddy is going to be obtrusive and remiss. some really do enjoy hosting for their own reasons, and that's good because I have somewhere to hang out. I also never mind it when those that are hosting assert rules for their own comfort; it's only fair, and it's better that way cause I"m not going to do something to piss you off just cuz I didn't know about it. I hope this post is shorter than it appears in the quick reply box

I agree, I never accept money when someone smokes with me. It's pointless. Like you said, that five bucks is not equal to the weed you smoke. Packing a bowl of your own stuff is a fair trade.
