Has anyone ever tried giving your plant more darkness than light during mainly during the late stages of development. I am curious to see what would happen on say a 16 hours darkness and 8 hours light schedule.

Hello,

From my understanding, by giving the plant more darkness and less light will cause unnecesary stress, and in the end may make the plant go hermi on you.

If though like you mentioned you did so at the end of the cycle (say the last 7-10 days) then it may cause the plant to spit out more resin glands, without having to deal with the results of the plant going hermi, (since you will be chopping it so soon).
