Yeah I use a 10mL vial.
The gel is great (clonex, mmm) because not only does it have the hormones, it also seals off the stem from possibility of embolism, and stays in gel form, keeping the right amount of moisture there.

stinkyattic Reviewed by stinkyattic on . clones wont root why? i read that after i cut it at a 45 degree angle i need to cut it again under water. then i put it in its new dome home after of course i put the gel on the 45 degree cut. so what am i doing wrong. i dont want to kill off the good strains, i have and its time to go 12/12 there getting to big.
