Are YOU a stoner?? And also..
Well, I'm about to graduate from one of the top engineering schools in the country in a year and a half. So, I would say that I am, in fact, on the path to becoming a successful stoner. At this point though, I'm just your typical college stoner.
buhman200 Reviewed by buhman200 on . Are YOU a stoner?? And also.. ..do you consider yourself to be successful or on the path for success?? A dictionary describes "stoner" as: One that stones. Slang One who is habitually intoxicated by alcohol or drugs. One who is a delinquent or failure. I AM habitually intoxicated by alcohol and drugs but am not a deliquent or a failure. How about you?? i am a stoner, and i'm not exactly on the best path in life towards success...
but it has little to do with drugs (if any at all) i was bullied a lot in school, as a result, every school year i'd miss more than half it, refusing to go... (i got my ass kicked by the foot ball teams, half the class ect.. and brutally, it wasn' tjust like a couple trouble makers made fun of me...)
it ended up hurting me alot, life wise... grandma held me back in grades so my size/mentality could be greater then those around me, eventually led to homeschooling.... after putting in years of work, eventually i found out, it wasn't a program reconized by the state i live in..
so it was all for nothing... by this tiem i was 18+... i decided to go back to public school, had no problems, but my graduating depended on being enrolled in an accelrated program.. so i could graduate in 2 years instead of 4 (when you're 20, atleast in my state, state no longer provides school for you, reguardless of yoru grade, you have to pay for it day by day...)
so i'm 18, going back to the 9th grade (remember, homeschooling eventually came back as nothing, all those years of work were pointless because it wasn't reconized by my state...) so i went back to highschool, 9th grade, at 18... i had 2 years to graduate before we'd have to pay for it (at the time we coudln't even fathom affording it, i dobut we could even afford it now) eventually after a few months actually of doing everything i was to do, keeping A's my guidence counselor told me i wasn't goign ot be admitted into the accelerated prgoram and i was goign to have spend 2 years paying for my highschool education..
why keep goign after all that crap? i can't afford to pay for the last 2 year... no employer was ever going to be like "well, you don't have a high school diploma but you lasted til the 11th grade"...... so i threw in the towel then and there...

Slip- that sucks. Even if the state doesn't recognize it, ya still got an education and Im sure you could get a GED if'n you want to. But yeah, that had to be excruciatingly frustrating and I can't believe you put forth all that effort that you did.
I'm a stoner girl. I dunno if Im on what most would consider the path to success or not tho. I 'm not that into money, I'd rather have time to spend with my husband and daughter than spend all my time workin for stuff that I won't even remember I bought in 10 yrs. We make enough to own a modest house, 2 cars & go on vacation once a year and thats enough for me. I'm happy and therefore feel successful! I think when my little girl is grown and she's happy thats when I will really feel successful and satisfied tho.

If you get a GED you can go to college, right? Back in the day I think you had to start at CC first and then could go to a 4 yr if you wanted. Good Luck, it is important to get all that stuff done just so you have options, but you got time, have fun
I'm in Fort Worth. I've only been to Houston area a couple of times, once to the Woodlands (Is that what its called??? cant member) and thru H to Galveston once. OMG, I didn't think we were ever going to get thru the city!

college.... LOL i'm married with a kid, and no transportation outta this shitty city... even if we managed to scrape up the money (or magicly got the help financially, which would really shock me since we're having a problem even keeping just over a 100$ a month in food stamps) i'd still have to find a way to the college.... of course we have a college, but shit... but i've seen people trying to get enrolled there and it'd honestly be easier to get enrolled in the FBI with no prior law enfrocement experience after serving a 10 year prison sentence for terrorism...

well i am in 10th grade in high school and i smoke weed about 10-20 times a month i currently have a 3.7 GPA and i plan to go to bowling green college when i graduate in 2 years to get a business degree in supply chain management .........so i think that smoking weed doesn't change who u are and changes your goals that depends on the person...........the people that smoke and fail at life is because thats what they think is important but i feel that weed doesn't change my goals but it may for some people
