Don't blame yourself, because it wasn't your fault. I don't think it's a good idea to drive around in a car with anything, but that's the risk you take when you do it. We all take risks, and sometimes shit happens. It might be a nice idea to call an attorney for him and get him bailed out, if need be.

Yea, he did something to attract the blue/red attention. If he needs bail money maybe you can help him out

Dear Brian, you were just arrested and its my fault
You have every-right to think it's your fault, thats a natural reaction to the situation.
He as a friend hopefully just sees it as a fucked up and unlucky night, and not your fault.
Don't blame yourself, sometimes things happen, if you cant bail him out at least give the guy a call and ask him what he woud like him to do.
you can only take it from there
Good luck on this one bizzle.

That sucks. Its not your fault, things could have been the way they were supposed to be, but well, something fucked up.
you know, my brothers pal was driving his car with his girlfriend in the passenger seat, he lost control on an ice patch (or wtv), and got into the wrong way on a bridge. On his way, he crashed into a...uhh...you know those big ass metal lamps in the streets (LOL i suck) and well his gf died.
He was driving, yet it was not really his fault.
What do you tell the parents, huh?

Hey Bizz you are sitting in an unenviable position right now and I see your need to tell some one who cares,,,we care!!!
I am not going to be to harsh but,,, I learned really long ago that when it gets dark the paranoias go into a feeding frenzy and i park my vehicle...
This is a life lesson for you,,,take from it wisdom...
We love you and I know you are a good and decent person that would not intentionally do harm to others,,,so be at peace knowing that...

I agree with Skink....I'm sure Brian is a big enough boy to be responsible for himself.....I work nights, drive home often at 4 am and have never been pulled over despite the fact I'm always stoned driving home etc.....if you're carrying stuff around you have to remain under the radar as much as possible. Tell him you are sorry (you are) and do what you can to help the situation seeing as he was doing you a favor.....but don't take his whole burden on your shoulders.
