I have my plants on 18/6 for a few reasons. 1)the plants preflower faster under this lighting so you can determine sex faster and 2) the electricity bill. 24hrs makes the plant grow a lot faster though. it's really up to you.

Is it better to go 24hrs on or 18hrs on 6hrs off. I think i read somewhere the plant do better when they get a little sleep.
