Ok, thanks. The rumor goin around town is that this chick that I smoke with has herpes, but I've smoked with her a good 4 or 5 times and haven't gotten even a cold sore, so I was just wondering.

Yeah, Kid, if they have an active lesion, and they're smoking and there's contact from their mouth to joint/pipe to your mouth, you can easily pick up the virus, too, from that smoking surface. It's even potentially contagious when there's not an active viral-shedding lesion, but that really is harder, especially with HSV-1, which usually what the oral virus is.
