you dont take clones from a flowering plant. You clone the vegging plant and flower the clone. Then you know if your vegging mom is m or f. Yeah clones from a flowering plant will take a long time to root.

They will be fine, just take clones from the plant, wait til they root, then flower the clone to determine the sex of the mom. If you do what i just wrote, you'll never have this problem.

you can clone from plant in flower, but a couple things...1st, It has to revert from flower to veg, dying in between...basically.

It will work, but bigger chance of hermie due to high stress reverting to veg.

Your optimum time for taking cutting is when a plant is at least a month old & a week or 2 before 12/12...clones take age of mother. one month old...does not mean from sprout. It means from 4-5 sets of nodes & seedling placed in veg, nutes added. Peace

Well I was hoping to get one moor grow in before summer get`s her.... I`m using 2 24"x48" tray`s , room is 6'x5'x7' and 1000 W air cooled light I like to grow in the winter to utilize the hot air from my light to help heat the house and I do not run the A/C in the winter so the electric bill is not to bad !
