albino weed< true or false
Ok, a normally green plant cannot grow without chloroplasts (the stuff that makes them green). A total albino plant is doomed to die young- it cannot produce it's own food like a normal plant. As soon as the seed's food is used up, it's a goner!
Partial albinos are seen now and then. Now a partial albino can have a branch or two that may grow out all albino, but it is the green parts of the plant that is supplying all the food for it. Although it is pretty, it likely won't do as well as a regular plant because it can't supply as much food through photosynthesis.
Another possibility is a branch mutation on a normal plant. One branch goes wacky and produces a mutation. (I had a normal plant with one partial albino branch- no difference in potency between the branches.) The mutation could be weird leaves, or albinism, or other trait. So it CAN happen, but it would be rather rare.
A potent, purely albino plant, bred by crazy hippies and nurtured in secret over the years? NO WAY! Just another urban myth!- Granny:hippy: (bio major, first time around in college)Storm Crow Reviewed by Storm Crow on . albino weed< true or false :rastasmoke: so...oh ya k i bought off this guy and the weed he sold me was white. he sayed it was albino and so did my cuzin, my cousin sayed the guy probly had a one albine plant that he had made a strain out of wich he got a mostly white harvest. these guy are total hippies and are to poor to lace it with any thing. thats was the nutsest weed, me and a two freinds smoked half a dime of it and were so fucked for like 6 hours not kidding. i dont even rember alot of that night. not Rating: 5\"If the truth won\'t do, then something is wrong!\"
