    Have a good one! :s4:
Now,that might be a bit much. I agree with you on the Gang problem but US military on our streets acting like LEO's strikes a bit too much like marshall law! mabey using the tactics and training to train the cops as to how to deal with gangs?? Also better wepons to help them? Gangs are TOO well Armed!!
And mabey the enterainment industry need to stop glorifing Gang Lifestyle so much,There's nothing worng with music style until it glorifies things like "Slappin Bitches,Poundin 40's,Puttin the hoe's on the corner and generally acting like Thugs!!

P4B, I'm starting to like you more and more, a conservative that understands more than one political spectrum

VERY strong on the defense issue....if there is any chance that our people are going to war.....they should have the best!
Agreed. Though personally I think it should be in the form of a somewhat medium, well equiped and trained, elite force. Not a massive army built for conquering.

2 term limits on congress and senate
Absolutely! Here in Canada the senate is appointed and have 45 year term limits. It gets very elitist and biased in favor of the party that appointed them.

NO special interest groups allowed anywhere near the D.C. area/ Congress, Senate, President
    cool.

    Flat tax
Out of curiosity, how would this work? Do you mean somebody making $120,000 a year, and somebody making $30,000, should both pay the same $15,000 tax?

Repeal of all laws binding the hands of labor unions...it's about time the C.E.O.s learn to share again.
    Very much agreed!

Legalize all recreational drugs.......put 10% of that enforcement money wasted into treatment.
    Sounds good to me.

The arts should be a private matter and needs no endorsement $ from the fed.
    agreed.

Economic aid to whatever country would be eliminated. A person with a $40,000 and is currently over 3/4 of that in debt does not give money away.
Yes and no. I'm not big on the relief money (in large quantities really), but I would support funding to establish national stability so that nation can have a stable market and standard of living. But I don't agree with just supporting the foreign population because they can't take care of themselves.

The Great Wall of Mexico would be constructed and illegals would have the option of leaving or being catapolted across the wall when caught.
I have nothing against imigrants, not even illegals, but I sort of agree with this. Only sort of because I havne't given it a huge amount of thought. The point is, imigration should be a regulated thing where a country can choose how many people it can support, not a system where we kindly let in random people who are anywhere from engineers to serial rapists.

They pay the same percentage of tax.

My idea of a flat tax is a tax put on ALL so called luxury goods excluding food items and "some" clothing items. Some as in non-designer style clothing. Everything else would have an additional flat tax of lets say 5% added on to the purchase price just as it is already today.

If your poor just getting by your tax rate "should" be at 0% based on purchasing no luxury goods. Joe millionaire that changes up his Rolls Royce and designer underware by the score would pay out more and with the loss of tax loop holes.

Industry would also be paying their fair share based on purchasing consumer items to keep the buisiness running and O.E.M. items for the parts needed to assemble a final product. MORE incentive to create things in house instead of farming out for goods. Parts brought in from overseas would also have a flat tax based on purchase price for the goods........call it a tariff if you like.

Why wouldn't this be passed? Because the people we have in office right now are the ones jet setting making the big bucks. I've yet to see the government pass something that would directly effect their own personal pockets.

    Have a good one!:s4:

April 15th comes and there's NO taxes to worry about or all the paper work, etc....that the government now has to contend with.

I don't care much for the label of a certain political party.......seems to hold down the thought process. Unfortunately with the way things are presently, we get the media coverage of the two favorites which for some odd reason nobody likes. When we go to vote these days it not based on "I like this dude"........it's all about how "I hate this one".

It always amazes me on how people in here use a "litmus test" for a candidate based on only one issue. Some are all about the weed forum, others about the war. What about the several hundred other issues? LMAO!...if a dude went on TV today and stated that he'd legalize weed as soon as elected BUT ALSO would nuke out Iran, Syria, and the rest of the middle east I can see some dumbasses in here saying "WOOOHOOOO, legal weed! That's my man!".

I think if you merge mrdevious, zimzum, and p4b...you might have something. I want the flat tax...all us poor people want is that the rich bastards pay tax too!

NO more million $ tax breaks for corporations running South to dump the unions, and getting millions of tax breaks in order to make more millions. Meanwhile local infrastructure suffer under the burden. Hell someone said "give the states back their power. I agree, but the states should answer to the people. So we need to throw out electoral college which only benefits the rich ,and big cities. Bring back the popular vote, So that the president is elected by the majority of voters, that are all supposed to have equal rights and values. Peace

KUDOS! This thread is exactly what I have been on my soapbox about in relation to the politics forum...Wish us all; goodluck!

i would like to see not the legalization, but the derciminalization of cannabis.

i would like to see the second ammendment upheld for the rest of this countries existance.

i would like to see a healthcare system implemented.

for me military spending is a no brainer. it takes a lot of money to run an army. "without supply, you will die" no soldier, sailor or marine should have to die because he didnt have something that 'cost to much'.

some things i don't agree with and why:
ban on unions. don't agree with that, i'm an electrician.

no wall, dont agree with that either, there is a right way to enter this country. and this country has many rules that need to be followed, if an immigrant can't follow the rules on how to enter this country, how can they be expected to be a productive citizen and follow the rules of our society ?

They should NEVER ban unions. Both my parents were union workers and my mother stood outside the gates of a tire company in the 60's with a baseball bat looking across at cops and nation gaurdsmen. THAT is the problem these days, they took away the strength of the union to the point that scabs can cross lines for cheaper pay screwing the trained workers. Hell, back in 81 I was on strike in a laundry plant and my fucking father in law crossed picket line.....LMAO...I took my 2 year old son to the strike the VERY next day with a sign saying" MY GRANDPA IS A SCAB!".....How the family loved my ass then!!

Laws have been slated way to far in the favor of industry regarding union matters.......it's time for the fat cats to share the wealth!

    Have a good one!:s4:
