I've worked on a cardiac unit before for a good amount of time, and I've watched many resuscitations by nurses, doctors, respiratory therapists, ect. as well as having a crash cart handy, so that may add a bit to my rates. Out of the hospital, I've done it 3 times successfully (included in the 6), one didn't really count, because we used an AED (in an airport) as well, so it wasn't exclusively CPR.

I'm on a combo postpartum and pediatrics unit, I'd be very afraid to do CPR on an infant or small child... Luckily we're not a specialty hospital, so all of the really bad cases get shipped out.
