Advise with Cancer and a Mom
Life has a way of just continuously flinging the shit doesn't it? I'm very sorry to hear about this man, I can only hope we can finally one day cure cancer.
Honestly I'm just in too much of a shit load of pain right now, so I can't give you too thorough an answer. But what I can tell you in regard to helping your gf emotionally:
1. Be supportive and be prepared for irrationality. Emotional distress can bring out the worst in people when they can't handle it well enough, and this can change a person's personality. If she does "act like a bitch" to you, take it as a sign of deeper inner turmoil, rather than a personal attack, and support her at that point more than ever.
2. I'd tell her that the best thing she can do is have acceptance. She will only caues more suffering for all involved by denying the situation, as in wishing things weren't this way or feeling it is unjust. All that matters is what to do with the situation to best remedie it, and flow with the rest whether we want it or not.
Regarding cancer and how to suppress/cure/treat it:
1. Take 400IU Vitamin-E a day. Get plenty of vitamin-A too, but through natural sources (especially carrots since they contain all 8 types of carrotenoids).
then..
2. Start at 4,000mg Vitamin-C a day. Add 2,000 grams a day till she reaches 24,000mg-30,000mg a day. I know this sounds excessive, but it's very non-toxic and will have potent anti-cancer effects at that dose. Once cancer goes into remission, maintain 4,000mg a day. And don't worry about extra vitamin-C intake from fruits and the such, that's just icing on the cake. Some successful cancer treatment studies with Vitamin-C have gone as high as 300,000mg, but that's in extreme and desperate situations.
3. Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannibinol (THC), the active compound in cannabis, has very good anti-cancer effects. It would be a good idea for her to take weed with the cancer, though preferrably by means other than smoking.
4. Green or red Rooibos tea, a tasty african tea, has extraordinarily large amounts of anti-oxidants that destroy free-radicals and supporess cancer growth as well as protecting against it. It's anti-oxidant content is up to 50 times higher than that of regular green tea.
5. There's a mushroom called "agaricus blurzai" if I remember correctly. I probably have the name somewhat wrong since it's been quite a while, but it's a tasty little mushroom that has significantly powerfull anti-cancer effects. This is a relatively recent discovery.
6. Lower stress by whatever means necessary (Sublingual Vitamin B-12 helps), as stress produces cancer-creating free radicals and supporesses the bodies immune system and overal function. Meditation may be beneficial, I saw one guy who completely overcame his cancer without chemo or drugs, by eating healthy and practicing meditation to a very advanced level.
7. Avoid red-dye. It's quite carcinogenic, though don't depend on the FDA or grocery stores to pay attention to that.
Hope this information helps, please pass it on to her as these combined treatments could really help. Best wishes to you and your gf too, let us know how things work out.mrdevious Reviewed by mrdevious on . Advise with Cancer and a Mom looking for suggestions, my girls mom has cancer again. I got the hint that she felt like I didn't support her much the first time she went through it all. My stance was I felt that everything else in her life was so crazy I wanted to be calm for her and I really didn't know how to react. Death all that, I shut down for a bit after. So when things like this are brought to attention I seem to cloud up and not know how to react. Meanwhile shes hallucinating over it. Heeeelp.. Rating: 5
