Unknown leaf problem - BROWN and crispy (pics)

leave the fan leaves on, there still usefull, what kind of nutes are you using? im going to say this is most likely a ph problem. If your getting nute deficiencies + brown spots. check the run off ph again, you want it to be around 6.8

Hey Man Good to Seee Jack stopped by.....

Hope you get it figured out. If you look at my plant, in the thread called Ã?Stuff that goes down in Kds AprtmentÃ? In the Indoors section. It looks very similar to yours.

I think the title of the post was see what happens when your PH gets messed up. Its right at the top of the page..

I would listen to Jack and sheck the PH again. P c;ould be getting locked out Due to PH.. P is locked out any wheere below 6.5Ph I believe. Where as N and K wont get locked out till lower PH.

    Good luck keep us posted..

what are fan leaves usefull for?, when the plant is in veg then they gateher light and photosynthesise but when its in flower they jus get in the way, blocking light from the new flowering shoots below, not that it makes a lot of difference either way.

i overwaterd my plants, they curled under, dark green in colour.
I then dramatically cut back on the watering and the lower leaves turned brown and dry, which makes sense for underwatering in my case. I took em off v esily and waterd more, its recovering well now.

    PH sounds logical

Wrong...fan leaves are mainly used for bud development (when flowering begins of course) which is why they turn yellow and eventually die off...cutting the fan leaves off would NOT be a very smart move, for anybody:rastasmoke:

I've always understood purple stems to be a temp flux prob...stress. Whats your temp variation? cept when I used to do outdoor, my stems were redder...Are you doing a foliar feed...cause you cou'd be over doing it. Could there be drops acumulating that the sum is magnifying?

Good luck! You'll figure it out.

That was my tought too....looks like water burn. Sure you aren't getting those leaves wet when you water and then the sun is frying them? If not....good luck....no clue.

PS you spraying them with bug spray during direct sun? Could be your problem if you are.
