A year ago, I could bench 225 15 times. Now that I have cancer, I'm trying to work everything back, so currently right now, I'm only benching 135 15 times. Not very impressive lmao.

But I'll be at my original mark again in 5 months I say.
I dunno why but curling is something I focus on more. I don't work out as much anymore either. But the most I ever remember bench pressing was 120 and I did it I think about 10 times. That was a while ago though. 225 is a lot haha.

225 isn't really that much. You have to train a bit to reach that point, but I see guys in the gym that bench 315 as warm-ups. What they do at max is just sickening. These guys are simply huge.

But ya, man if you continue training, add some bench presses and such. It works your chest, triceps and shoulders in 1 sitting. Pretty efficient exercise. Curls is an isolation exercise, which would only work biceps and forearms, but nice if you want to make those pistons sharp, but it doesn't really add much unless workout triceps and shoulders for full arm definition. You should keep going. Curling 50 is definitely impressive, even when I was in prime shape, I couldn't recall lifting a 50lb with each arm. Damn.

i've been regularly lifting weights for a little over 3 monthes. keep in mind i don't have anyone to spot me, so i keep the weight a little lower than i want to for safety reasons. for bench press i do 3 sets of 7-10 reps at 145lbs.

i usually do 3 to 5 sets of around 10-15 reps at 100 lbs. otherwise my max is about 190.

i dont really try to benchpress much though, just to tone them pecs!

    Another lady weighing in....

I used to bench 70-80 lbs. at my peak fitness level. Maybe 6 reps or so.
I am a metric conversion retard so I don't know how many kg that is.
