What kind of plant do you have? Well, cannabis is pretty distinctive, even as a seedling, but I imagine you are asking when can you tell the sex of a cannabis plant. It just depends on the strain and the lighting. Some like lowrider, are autoflowering- they don't give a hoot what the light is like, they flower when they get a certain age/size. More are light dependent, they need 12 hours of dark to properly flower. Preflowers can show up, in some strains, in 4 to 6 weeks after planting, others may take longer.
