I'm a newbie.... so I have only advice in regards to panic attacks (I've been plagued with them since I was 8 years old!)... The first couple of times I smoked, I got bad anxiety... I was so uptight and dizzy and my heart went crazy.

One thing that helps me (whether I'm smoking or not) is to NOT fight the feeling.... the more you fight... the more you panic. Acknowledge how you feel ("my heart is beating fast.....i feel very dizzy.....").. but trust that it WILL PASS....

This sort of helps me... to not fight it... but let it ride itself out.
