"hallucinating" smells/tastes

intrepidus6 Reviewed by intrepidus6 on 03-08-2007. "hallucinating" smells/tastes A lot of time I'll be sitting somewhere and then all of the sudden I will notice the smell of some dank. And it will be somewhere like my brothers room, which should have no weed in it(he's 7), and my door is always shut so no way for the smell of weed from my room to get into his (I also haven't had any weed for a while). Sometimes I can taste weed too. Like the taste just appears in my mouth. It happens with other things too. And the smell thing happens mostly in places where you wouldn't Rating: 5

Sometimes I smell dinner... I'll be like what's that smell and it smells like Macaroni and cheese,,,so I make macaroni and cheese for diner... it's like a subconscious power of suggestion... I am always in the mood to eat what I smell to...

damn i must have full blown schizophrenia because i smell stuff all the time that isn't there and from time to time my taste and smell will change, like the taste of something that i know and love will all of a sudden taste different and from then onward it will always taste like that. same with smells. sometimes this happens after i get really sick too, doctors have said to watch out for that but idk what it means; anyone know?

i believe that i am either a high functioning(hah i spelled that as fuctioning hehe) psycho or maybe just have some symptoms but it isn't full blown yet. but im steadfast in me belief that its all in the mind and anything external can be changed simply by interpretation and observation.

life is a matter of opinion. every experience we take in will help define future experiences, we see examples of this every second.

i know that as long as i realize im crazy then i will have the upper hand. lets hope it stays that way.

just cos u smell something that aint there dont mean your schitzo, theres many normal other reasons it could be

i didnt even have to read the post to say that this shit happens to me ALL the time its insane. i get these nostalgic childhood scents alot like the smell of a kindergarden classroom or of arts and crafts, and other things that i couldnt even tell you what they are.

iv had this happen too. the weirdest time was when i was waiting for a package from a member of this site and before it came in the mail, literaly before the mailman turned the corner i smelled the lovely stinky smell of MJ. so i walked outside and wahbam the mail man was almost waiting for me (me and the mailman are tight). and when he gave me the package it had no smell bc it had been triple vaccum sealed. and when i opened it up it smelled exactly like the smell i smelled b4 it came. i also hear the beeping noise from those nextel phones and no one will be around.

i have heard that too if u smile fire it could be a tumor weird or what

i think smells are a memory like i remember the smell of my school dinner, and sometimes maybe ur nose just runs away with u!
