"hallucinating" smells/tastes

A lot of time I'll be sitting somewhere and then all of the sudden I will notice the smell of some dank. And it will be somewhere like my brothers room, which should have no weed in it(he's 7), and my door is always shut so no way for the smell of weed from my room to get into his (I also haven't had any weed for a while). Sometimes I can taste weed too. Like the taste just appears in my mouth. It happens with other things too. And the smell thing happens mostly in places where you wouldn't expect there to be weed (elementary school,grocery store, parents room). I don't know, it just seems weird. Is there anything that can scientifically explain why this happens? Sometimes the tastes and smells are random things like, bacon.

Yeah, actually..that happens to me.

But usually I smell it and it's there...

one time, I was on a cruise and I was on literally the opposite end of the boat, sniffed a little and followed my nose (*WOOHOO*) and found a guy smoking a joint on the other end.

That happens to me, too. I forgot the reasons it happens, but somebody posted a thread like this a few months ago, I think. It's explained there. But yeah, you're not the only one it happens to.

I get those very potently with smells sometimes, it only lasts like 2 seconds but it feels completely like its right under my nose, its like im remembering a smell in perfect detail

I am schizo But I always thought this happened to other people to since I heard about it. Happens to me frequently though so idk...
